Welcome to Australia's largest regular poetry slam!

In October 4ESydney is collaborating with BPS  to deliver some poetry goodness at the next BANKSTOWN POETRY SLAM! Winner of the 2023 Bankstown Poetry Slam ‘Grand Slam’ Vaughn will return to the BPS stage this October to launch his debut collection, poems from the afterlife.

FEATURE: VAUGHN UPWARD-GARCIA

Vaughn Upward-Garcia is a Peruvian-Australian poet who writes and performs ethereal verse that seeks the divine. Influenced by rap, spoken word and more traditional poetic forms, Vaughn aspires to blur the lines that divide these styles.
